100 Kilo Herz - Weit weg von zu Hause - 12" Vinyl LP

100 Kilo Herz have been on the road since 2016 with three and a half punkers, one and a half jazzers and two indie kids. After the (initially) often-heard dialogue ‘We do punk with horns’ - ‘So ska?’ - ‘No, punk rock, but with horns’, word has now got around that something special has been created in Leipzig.

And by now it's clear: 100 kilos of heart can't quite be contained. Too hard for a ska band and too soft for a punk band, they have landed somewhere between the two and have realised that it's quite bearable.

In autumn 2018, they released their debut album Weit weg von zu Hause on their own and, thanks to concerts with Dritte Wahl, Fahnenflucht, The Offenders and Rantanplan, quickly made their way into the ears of dancing and punk rock fans. On their album, they tell emotional stories of small-town and big-city experiences, differentiating between small and big problems.

The Leipzigers give you an album that makes you think, but the fun factor is never neglected. All in all, this album is a story that fits in very well with the times we live in.
