The previous album "Punkrock Harbour" significantly increased the popularity of The Baboon Show in Germany, which has existed since 2003. This happened not least thanks to their rousing live concerts, which have earned the band a reputation as one of the best live acts in their genre. Therefore, the expectations are high and the tension is great, but on "Peoples Republic..." the band doesn't let itself get rattled at all. They show again where their strengths lie, and with extremely catchy songwriting!
Whether it's short garage punk pieces, grooving dance punk monsters or pop punk pearls, the songs are always arranged almost perfectly and unfold their effect in no time.
