JENNA PRIESTNER (vocals/guitar) and MARCIA HANSON (drums/vocals) from Winnipeg have been MOBINA GALORE since 2010, and in their Canadian homeland they have quickly achieved a respectable status through constant touring and a self-produced debut EP. Regularly featured in the charts of numerous college radio stations, finalists at the 'Manitoba Songfest' and multiple participants at NXNE (North By Northeast) and numerous festivals, they have been touring non-stop for almost a year to promote their Canadian self-released debut album 'Cities Away'. On the occasion of their first extensive European tour, GUNNER are now presenting the album here in Germany on CD and vinyl with a download code - and it's easy to see why the band has hit the Canadian scene so quickly. With the power and enthusiasm of a quartet line-up, the duo unleash a highly energetic mix of punk rock, garage flair and alternative elements, which also evokes grunge memories of acts like HOLE or L7, not least because of the female vocals.
